Health Care Assistant – Domiciliary Care – All

You can expect to assist vulnerable people in our community, promote their independence and assist them to remain in the comfort of their own home. We assist people with daily living tasks.

Be someone’s listening ear, their laughter, their comfort, their house tidier, their outfit of the day picker, the shopping list writer. Be someone’s reason every day.

Duties

  • Assist individuals with personal care tasks, daily hygiene routines.
  • Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation and feeding.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe home environment.
  • Follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Document daily activities accurately using IT systems as required.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in providing care.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
