  • Working alongside the Deputy Manager, supervising and supporting your team so they’re confident and skilled in every part of their role.
  • Supporting residents with a range of personal care needs, while making sure dignity, respect and privacy are always maintained.
  • Ensuring every resident has a comprehensive and up-to-date care plan that reflects their needs.
  • Dispensing medication with accuracy and care, keeping detailed records as you go.

Person Specification:

Here's what we're looking for: 
  • Experience working as a carer in a care home or similar environment.
  • Experience supervising a person or team.
  • An understanding of person-centred care and the importance of understanding, maintaining and following care plans.
  • Able to organise and plan your own work and the workload of a team.
  • Able to be calm and lead by example, even when under pressure.
  • You must be warm, kind, reliable, empathetic and compassionate towards people when you spend time with them. This includes your team and our residents.

Essential qualifications:

Health and social care qualification - Adult Social Care Level 3 - or equivalent or a commitment to undertake further training and development relevant to the role.
