We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious Manager for Durham House Residential Care Home, our 31 bed care home in Chester–le-Street, County Durham.

The salary for this post is £40,777.70 per annum; however, this is flexible and may be adjusted based on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready for their next challenge.
• A proven record of achieving outstanding outcomes within adult social care.
• Robust practical knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete if required).
• Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
• Commercial awareness, including occupancy growth and budget management.
• Ability to drive and access to a car.
